Exterior Design
Audi e-tron inherits the family exterior design elements, active open and close platinum gray octagonal single-span grille adjustable air intakes to help reduce wind resistance in front of the car, with high-definition matrix laser headlamps, exclusive multi-spoke LED daytime running lamps, [2] [6] The overall style of the rear is more rounded, and the taillamps are of a through design. Body size 4901mm * 1935mm * 1616mm, wheelbase 2928mm.
Interior Design
Audi e-tron interior adopts Audi’s latest family style, the instrument panel, the center control screen consists of three LCD screens, the gear handle design and four-spoke steering wheel have a sense of technology. Replacing the optical mirrors with an exterior rearview camera, a 7-inch OLED screen has been added near the inner door panel pulls on both sides, which supports multiple viewing angles as well as zoom functions and blind spot monitoring.
Audi e-tron has adopted the “3-screen digital cabin” interior layout, the center console of the dual LCD screen design, the upper part of the 10.1-inch LCD screen is responsible for the control of multimedia entertainment and vehicle function settings, the lower part of the 8.6-inch touch screen is mainly responsible for the operation of the air conditioning system.
Features include adjustable ambient lighting, B&O audio, intelligent assisted driving system, in-car connectivity system, MMI system, etc.
With a 600L trunk volume, there is also a 60L front trunk space designed at the head of the vehicle. And the trunk can be expanded to 1,725L with the seats down.
Power Handling
The Audi e-tron adopts a dual-motor four-wheel-drive drive form, equipped with two electric motors, whose system output can reach 300kw, peak torque of 664N-m, 0-60km acceleration of just 5.5 seconds, electronically controlled speed up to 200km/h. In supercharged mode, the dual motors can produce a peak power output of 300kw for 60 seconds.
The Audi e-tron comes standard with progressive steering. The Audi e-tron’s front and rear suspensions feature five-link independent suspension with air suspension as standard, and the height of the car can be varied automatically in response to changes in driving mode. Regular ground clearance is 172mm, and with the ability to go up 50mm as well as down 26mm on top of that, it can handle a wide range of road conditions.
The Audi e-tron has a dynamic ground clearance of 76mm. With seven driving modes – Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Efficient, Individual, All-Road and Off-Road – and four ESC modes – On, Sport, Off-Road and Off-Road – the Audi e-tron’s adaptive air suspension can be adjusted at any time to suit different road conditions.
Quattro Electric Four-Wheel Drive
The Audi e-tron combines a dynamic driving experience with off-road performance and is equipped with the quattro electric four-wheel drive system, which responds in 30 milliseconds, one-quarter the speed of mechanical four-wheel drive.
