Description
Exterior
The overall styling of the CX-50 is basically a continuation of the design of the overseas model, with the family-style front grille, paired with the lower half-enclosure trim and sharp guide slots on both sides of the front enclosure, making it quite recognizable. The side of the car is long and slender, and the front and rear wheelbrows, pedals and window surroundings are all black, making it look dynamic and full of energy. The rear is equipped with a high spoiler, family-style round taillight design, visually looks fuller, and the rear surround is equipped with deflector slots on both sides, echoing the front face. In terms of body color, two new body colors, Zircon Gray and Tranquility Blue, have been added.
Interior
The interior maintains Mazda’s traditional style, with a three-circle disk shape paired with a floating center screen, a mechanical instrument panel and a mechanical gearshift lever, making the overall look relatively minimalist. It is worth mentioning that the new CX-50 has a new panoramic sunroof, and also optimizes the storage space inside the car, optimizing the view and practicality of the car.
Power
The CX-50 will be equipped with the power combination of SKYACTIV-G 2.0L/2.5L engine + 6AT transmission. The 2.0L has a maximum power of 114kW and a peak torque of 200N-m; the 2.5L engine has a maximum power of 144.15kW and a peak torque of 252N-m. It also utilizes Mazda’s latest Intelligent Variable Cylinder Technology, which can further improve the vehicle’s fuel economy.
