The new BYD Yuan Pro has not been adjusted for exterior styling, the car continues to use Dragon Face 3.0 design language, the front part of the closed grille design common in new energy models, the middle part with folded corners, the two sides of the small ventilation opening area set decorative strips as an embellishment, which effectively enhances the three-dimensional sense of the design of the front face. The wide silver trim on the top extends to both sides and connects the sharp headlight cluster, with all-LED light sources, automatic headlights, flowing dynamic turn signals and delayed headlight shut-off and a series of other functions.
In terms of body dimensions, the new model’s specific length, width and height are 4375 x 1785 x 1680 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,535 mm. the car’s body shape is relatively compact, the side of the car adopts a double waistline design, the wheel brow and side skirts and other parts of the black plastic shield package, reflecting a certain crossover elements.
BYD Yuan Pro’s rear design is also very interesting, the center part of the classic external spare tire, tailgate for the side to open the form, both sides of the tail lamp group for the C-shaped design, the style is relatively unique. In addition to the new model also added a new Yuan Qi Pink paint, together with the previous Energy Gray and Energetic White paint, currently has a total of three exterior color options.
Interior Design
BYD Yuan Pro’s interior design and layout remains the same, the new car is mainly a new fresh blue dual-patch interior color scheme, giving people a cleaner and more elegant feeling. At the same time, the new car’s center console design is relatively simple, there is no unnecessary physical physical buttons, the gear handle area set driving mode, air conditioning and other control buttons, but also added a wireless charging panel. In addition, the new car center console above the matching 8-inch full LCD instrument panel and 10.1-inch touch LCD screen, the screen built-in DiLink 4.0 intelligent network system, the function supports voice recognition control, Gaode map, 4G network, OTA upgrade.
The car’s interior seats are uniformly wrapped in imitation leather fabric, and only support manual adjustment in terms of function. The front seats maintain the shape of the status quo, the leather fabric and internal padding is soft, while the cushion length is excellent, the ride experience is comfortable enough.
Rear seat material use and workmanship with the front row to maintain the same level, 1.8 meters tall experience to the rear row, the head space remaining four fingers, leg space is about one fist two fingers, space performance in the same class belongs to the upper and middle level.
Power System
BYD Yuan Pro power comes standard with a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous drive motor with a maximum output of 70 kW and peak torque of 180 Nm. Meanwhile, the lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a capacity of 38 kWh and 47.04 kWh is provided, and the corresponding CLTC pure electric range is 320km and 401km respectively.
